Since 1984, Tracie has focused her energy and enthusiasm on helping people become more effective. From her consumer-education days as the Public Relations Manager at the only university-run Better Business Bureau in the country, to her work as an adjunct instructor for MBAs at Cox School of Business at SMU, Tracie has dedicated her professional career to the education of others.
Tracie’s business leadership experience comes from both the private and public sectors. After 14 years of leading a variety of teams and projects at EDS, Tracie branched out as an entrepreneur and civic leader. She founded her own company and was elected to her first public office—city council member of the fastest-growing city in the state of Texas! In 2000, Tracie was appointed Frisco’s Mayor Pro-tem. The true test of her leadership came when she won her bid for re-election in 2001 and was again appointed by her peers as the Mayor Pro-tem in 2002.
