Shaunna Black is Managing Partner of Venture Pacific Group International, LLC - a global advisory firm specializing in providing confidential solutions and services for business leaders enabling them to solve complicated problems. Her executive career has provided significant experience in strategy, global operations, technology, risk management and sustainability.
Previously, she was President of Shaunna Black Associates and served as interim manager for a number of clients. From 1985 to 2009 with Texas Instruments, Inc. (TI) Shaunna served as Vice President of Worldwide Environmental, Safety and Health, Manager of Dallas Semiconductor Manufacturing (DFAB) and Manager of Worldwide Facilities.
Shaunna's experience in these roles gave her in-depth knowledge of manufacturing operations, facilities design, construction and operation of TI facilities worldwide. In addition, she was responsible for Environmental, Safety and Health programs, worldwide security programs, real estate management and TI's sustainability strategy.
"Paying it forward" is important to Shaunna. She currently serves on the Board of Directors for YWIRE Technologies, Entegra Technologies, the Executive Advisory Board for the UT-Austin Cockrell School of Engineering, the Advisory Board for the Alliance of Technology and Women and Design Connect Create, a STEM initiative. She is a past board member of High Tech High Heels, the Dallas Women's Foundation, the Texas Instruments' Foundation and the Sustainability Advisory Board for Energy Future Holdings.
Throughout her career Shaunna has received many recognitions, including the Alliance of Technology and Women's Lifetime Achievement Award, Pink's Top 15 Women in Business, Women in Technology Hall of Fame, Maura Women Helping Women, Tech Titans Community Hero Award, Frank Bromilow Distinguished Lecturer, and Circle of Honor.
Shaunna holds Bachelor of Science degrees in Mechanical Engineering from New Mexico State University and in Education from the University of Texas in Austin.
