Ruth has delivered career, talent management and leadership development programs for Fortune 500 corporations, universities, non-profit organizations and individuals for eighteen years. She has also provided individual career coaching for professionals, managers and executives, and consulted with organizations to develop internal talent management processes and tools.

Prior to founding Lifework Directions in 1992, Ruth worked for the IBM Corporation for almost twelve years in positions of increasing responsibility including technical support, management and leadership development. As a facilitator for IBM's Leadership Development Program, she provided leadership and career development training for hundreds of IBM managers and professionals across the United States
