Chocolat
Two of the themes in our POWER of Self program focus on leadership and one’s “use of self” in the world.
In Chocolat, the lead female character, Vianne, (played by Juliette Binoche) steps into her own power as an informal leader in her new community, taking on the establishment and breaking quite a few rules along the way.
Vianne is not the only strong woman in the movie—another attribute that makes it one of our favorite films.
