Conflict is inevitable in any situation where two or more people, with different views or goals, are required to co-exist in a system-whether that system is a project team, executive board, or simply a personal relationship. Women have often been conditioned to avoid conflict and to accommodate others. This presentation provides women with needed skills to utilize a variety of options when initiating or responding to conflict. Having the skills gives women confidence to engage in conflict in a strategic way while not only maintaining but also enriching relationships.
