Jonathan Spiegel has broad experience over more than 37 years as a management consultant, educator, counseling psychologist and trainer. He was a founder of the Charter Oak Consulting Group, and has recently launched the ITO Consulting Group, a management and organization development firm specializing in the integration of Leadership, Team Development and Organizational Change efforts. His guidance to executive an project teams in linking strategy to tactical applications for maximum impact has brought him long-term relationships with his client partners.

Jonathan has developed management systems, conducted consultations and training programs at all levels, designed and supported major change efforts, and worked with both line and staff, field and home office, separately and together. He is adept at linking budgetary analyses with activities to establish highest impact applications of systems such as Activity Based Costing and Performance Management. He has consulted worldwide and in the US for such organizations as AT & T, Applied Materials, ATKearney, Disney, Intel, McKinsey & Company, The Prudential, The US Air Force, The US Navy and The US Department of State. His work with OSHA resulted in the agency receiving several "Hammer" awards from former Vice President Gore as an outstanding example of government reinvention. With the Department of State he created strategic alternatives and program plans to pursue them. Working with the Executive Steering Committee he provided clear integration of technology solutions with programmatic initiatives. He has presented on the subjects of Leadership, High Performance Teams, Success, Managing In A Diverse Environment and Managing Change. Jonathan has also specialized in executive development and coaching. He has worked with senior executives and their teams in diverse industries and in many countries.

Prior to Charter Oak, he was the Director of Management and Organizational Development at a major insurance company. He has been a member of the graduate faculty of the University of Hartford, Barney School of Business Administration and held teaching positions at other Universities. He was a Principal Psychologist for the State of Massachusetts and held leadership positions in state and federal agency organizational development programs.

Jonathan's international experience began with a three year commitment to the Peace Corps, working and living in Sri Lanka. He then consulted to C.A.R.E. for program development and review. Across his career he has developed and conducted programming for gender and ethnic effectiveness. His cross cultural work also includes consultation and programming for US and international companies, leadership programs for working with different cultures and Executive Coaching in Asia, Europe and Latin America.

Jonathan is co-author of "L4 Performance Management", a system for effective leadership. He has had articles published in industry and organization journals and magazines. He holds a Masters Degree and has completed his doctoral studies at the University of Massachusetts. He has a Bachelors Degree from Queens College, New York, where he was the Director of the Human Development Center.
